The winners of contests “ECOleader” and “Man and nature” honored in Kazan

Ceremony of awarding winners of republican contests “ECOleader” and “Man and nature” was held in NCC “Kazan”. Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Deputy Chairman of RT State council Rimma Ratnikova and Minister of ecology and natural resources Aglyam Sadretdinov attended the event. Head of RT government opened the ceremony.

Prime Minister handed awards to winners of contest “ECOleader” conducted among enterprises of All-Russia significance. JSC “Tatneft” became an absolute winner of this contest in 2009. Prizes were also awarded to JSC “TANECO”, JSC “Nizhnekamskneftehim”, agricultural complex “Maisky” and JSC “Network company”.

Rimma Ratnikova has awarded winners of contest “ECOleader” conducted among enterprises of republican and municipal significance. They were: JSC “Generation company”, Sergo plant (Zelenodolsk city), OOO “Ecology” (Nizhnekamsk), JSC “TAIF-NK” and ZAO “Chelnyvodokanal”.

Leading enterprises and organizations of republic, institutions of culture, education, social sector, health care, public associations which make everyday contribution into environmental protection, ecological security and rational nature use in RT also got prizes. Moreover, best journalists who actively cover work on solving the most urgent ecological problems and contribute into ecological education in republic were mentioned as well.
