Rustam Minnikhanov meets Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov

On May 27, at their meeting at the Kazan City Hall before the plenary session “Russia – the Islamic World, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov discussed issues related to further cooperation within the framework of the Strategic Vision Group “Russia- the Islamic World”, topical issues and problems of international relations, strengthening cooperation with the Muslim states.

Minnikhanov said that last week Kazan successfully hosted the International Economic Summit "Russia - the Islamic world» Kazansummit-2016.

He said that the Strategic Vision Group "Russia – the Islamic World" serves as a platform to join efforts of government officials, experts, and scholars to strengthen Russia's ties with the Islamic world. Minnikhanov continued that it is important to determine the strategy for further development.
