Rustam Minnikhanov reelected Chairman of Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding Board of Directors

On May 25, at Tatarstan Government House Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov chaired an annual meeting of shareholders of Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding.

Making a report at the meeting, Director General of the Holding Rafinat Yarullin said that in 2015 Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding continued to work on main directions, particularly, facilitation of investment and innovation projects and import substitution. Specialists of the holding carried out marketing researches in 19 spheres. The company held thirteen scientific and technical council meetings, at which the technology to increase the efficiency of the extraction and processing of oil and gas were considered, as well as production of new chemical and rubber products and processing of waste.

Yarullin noted that in general, the volume of production in the petrochemical complex  grew by 2.5 per cent in Tatarstan in 2015, which is below the scheduled value.

The net profit of Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding amounted to 1,165 million roubles in 2015. The shareholders have decided not to pay dividends and direct the profit to the company development.

The meeting has elected a new Board of Directors consisting of 25 people, namely, Rustam Minnikhanov, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Tatarstan Minister of Economy Artem Zdunov, Aide to Tatarstan President Renat Sabirov, Aide to Tatarstan President for oil industry Shafagat Takhautdinov, Tatarstan Presidential Consultant on the development of oil and gas fields Renat Muslimov, Aide to Tatarstan Prime Minister for the petrochemical complex Almaz Galeev, CEO of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina.

Heads of several largest regional companies have been also included in the board, namely, General Director of Svyazinvestneftekhim Valery Sorokin, Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov, Director General of TAIF Albert Shigabutdinov.

Updated Board of Directors has elected Rustam Minnikhanov its chairman and extended the mandate of Rafinat Yarullin as CEO of Tatneftekhiminvest Holding.
