Rustam Minnikhanov meets representatives of national-cultural autonomy of Tatars in Kostroma

On May 24, during his working visit to Kostroma, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met representatives of national-cultural autonomy of Tatars. They discussed issues of the preservation of native language, development of traditional Islam and counteraction to extremism.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that it is important to pay more attention to the preservation of native language, culture and traditions.  

The president told about the projects “Ana tele” and TNV-Planet channel. Minnikhanov thanked governor of the Kostroma region Sergey Sitnikov for the creation of favourable conditions for the preservation and development of Tatar culture.
