Tatarstan citizens and enterprises can transfer money for construction of Bolgar Academy

On May 24, at a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers, deputy mufti of the Republic of Tatarstan for education, rector of Russian Islamic Institute Rafik Mukhametshin told that Bolgar Islamic Academy will enroll 25 people for Master’s and Doctoral programmes every year. Also, conferences and professional development courses for teachers will be held at the academy.

Outstanding foreign Muslim scholars from Egypt, Morocco, Syria and Jordan will be invited to the academy.

Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Vasil Shaikhraziev told that the construction of the academy will be funded by citizens, enterprises and organizations.  He informed that 250, 000 pilgrims and tourists visited Bolgar in 2015.
