Winners of All-Russian School Olympiads awarded in Kazan

On May 23, in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of awarding Tatarstan winners of the final stage of All-Russian School Olympiadn, as well as their teachers and parents.

Minnikhanov reminded that the work to identify, support and develop gifted pupils is a priority of the state policy.“We made the right decision to establish the regional Olympiad centre. It allowed involving a great many schoolchildren,” he said. 

This year the regional team won 141 prize-winning places, with four schoolchildren becoming absolute winners and seven  being included in the national team to participate in international Olympiads. The ecology, mathematics, chemistry, computer science and law teams achieved a notable success.
