Rustam Minnikhanov: Construction industry is very important for economy of any region

On May 18, at the 7th annual meeting of the Association of builders of the Republic of Tatarstan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the Association needs to pay attention to the observance of safety instructions and labour protection at construction sites, professional development of the personnel, as well as the increase of the quality of construction.

President of the Association Rim Khalitov made a report on results of work for 2015.

Organizations-members of the association are the basis of the construction industry of the republic and take part in the implementation of all major projects.

The main purpose of the Assocaition is ensuring safety and high quality of work in the industry. In 2015, it focused on labour protection and control of the quality of construction works. By results of planned inspections, the work of more than half of organizations was highly assessed, and the best ones will receive the awards.  

In 2014, the Association was concerned about high injury rate and decided to create an institute of public labour inspectors and organize seminars for them.

Among the most important issues Rustam Minnikhanov pointed out observance of safety instructions and labour protection and construction sites.
