Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in session of the Russian Presidential Commission on Monitoring of social-economic development performance targets achievement

On May 16, together with heads of federal ministries and agencies, presidential envoys in federal districts, and heads of some regions Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a session of the Russian Presidential Commission on Monitoring of achievement of social-economic development performance targets chaired by Vladimir Putin in Moscow.

The session discussed the execution of orders according to Presidential decrees as of May 7, 2012. In particular, issues related to supply of health care industry with qualified workers, the development of additional education of children, the improvement of the quality of state services were on the agenda.

Vladimir Putin noted that the results of work should not be assessed by the number of reports, people should see real changes for the better. Significant steps were taken in the development of additional education of children. The number of children going to music and sports schools is increasing.

As a positive example Putin mentioned children’s technopark “Quantorium” in Naberezhnye Chelny (Tatarstan).
