Ildar Khalikov: Tatarstan looks ahead on issues of oil and petrochemistry

The XVII international specialized exhibition “Oil. Gas. Petrochemistry” opened in Kazan.

Speaking at the opening ceremony Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov underlined importance of this exhibition for Tatarstan as oil-production and oil-processing republic. A global project is being realized in Tatarstan – oil-processing complex “TANECO” is being constructed in Nizhnekamsk city. By words of Prime Minister, republic looks far ahead on these issues. Recent foundation of RT Ministry of energy is also connected with this project. Main purpose of this activity is social and economic development of Tatarstan and improvement of citizens’ quality of life, Ildar Khalikov stressed.

Chairman of the Highest mountain council, Chairman of Union Council of oil-gas industrialists of Russia Yury Shafrannik said Kazan exhibition is among the first in Russia and noted that its level goes up every year. Yury Shafrannik considers that innovative development is going on in Tatarstan sequentially and such experience should be used throughout Russia.

Later on guests saw expositions of the exhibition. Moscow guests paid much attention to exposition of “Tatneft” company which was the central one at the exhibition. The company presented technological innovations in the sphere of increasing oil recovery of beds, resource efficiency and development of bituminous deposits. The main theme of exposition was project “TANECO”.

Traditionally a number of significant events coincide with the main exhibition. This time the central event is a joint traveling session of the Highest mountain council of non-commercial partnership “Miners of Russia” and Council of “Union of oil-gas industrialists of Russia”.

Besides, International scientific conference “Innovations and technologies in prospecting, recovery and processing oil and gas”, V Interregional scientific conference “Industrial ecology and safety”, conference “Polymer components for different sectors of industry”, V specialized exhibition “Eco-technologies and equipment of XXI century” and I specialized exhibition “Plastic and rubber” are being held.

The mentioned events are being conducted with support of the President and Government of Tatarstan, RT Ministry of energy, RT Ministry of ecology and Kazan Mayor’s office.

This year the following countries take part in exhibitions: Russia, Belorussia, Great Britain, Iran, Poland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Japan. More than 120 companies took part in the main exhibition. Main exhibitors – leading enterprises of fuel and energy complex of Russia, - “Transneft”, “Tatneft”, “TAIF” group, “RITEK”.
