As many as 91 fires covering an area of 158 ha were registered in the Republic of Tatarstan over 8 months. The damage made more than 8 mln roubles, Volga inter-regional prosecutor for environmental issues Vera Soldatova said on September 6 at a an inter-agency meeting on the legal state of forests use, protection, preservation and reproduction in Tatarstan.

The meeting attended by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took place at the RT House of Government.
