Rustam Minnikhanov has a meeting with CEO of Dubai World Trade Centre Helal Saeed Al-Marie

On May 4, during his working trip to the United Arab Emirates, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has a meeting with CEO of Dubai World Trade Centre Helal Saeed Al-Marie. Organizers of various international exhibitions also took part in the meeting. 

Minnikhanov noted that the World Trade Centre in Dubai is known worldwide as a venue for important exhibitions. Every year, it hosts an investment forum, where Tatarstan presents its exposition.

Minnikhanov said that a large exhibition center, Kazan Expo, is under construction in Kazan. According to him, this project has become particularly relevant due to the fact that Kazan won the right to host the 2019 WorldSkills Championship.

Minnikhanov and Al-Marie considered various options for collaboration within the framework this project. "You have considerable experience in this area, and we would be glad to cooperate with you," Tatarstan President said.

The meeting also discussed  a possibility of exchanging experiences in exhibition activities and management of large exhibition centers.
