Chairman of JSC “Gasprom” administration Aleksey Miller: High percent of gasification in Tatarstan is a factor of high social responsibility

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of JSC “Gasprom” administration Aleksey Miller took part in celebrations dedicated to 55-anniversary of OOO “Gasprom-transgas Kazan”. Festive event was held in hall of KRK “Piramida”.

Director General of OOO “Gasprom-transgas Kazan” Rafkat Kantyukov told about main historical periods of enterprise’s development. OOO “Gasprom-transgas Kazan” (former OOO “Tattransgas”) was founded in 1955 after launching main gas pipeline “Minnibaevo-Kazan” that became the third one built in USSR during post-war years and the first one in Tatarstan. By the level of gasification Tatarstan takes the first place in Russia, percent of gasification makes 100 %.

Rafkat Kantyukov noted that “Gasprom” had always support socially significant projects realized in republic such as project of revival of Bolgar and Sviyazhsk cities that is being realized by initiative of the first RT President Mintimer Shaimiev. Besides, sport recreation complex build by the program “Gasprom for children” has been commissioned in Bugulma city.

Head of OOO “Gasprom-transgas Kazan” thanked Tatarstan leadership for understanding and real help on all urgent issues.

Chairman of JSC “Gasprom” administration Aleksey Miller congratulated employees of OOO “Gasprom-transgas Kazan” on 55-anniversary on behalf of “Gasprom” management and 300-thousand staff of the enterprise. By his words, today “Gasprom-transgas Kazan” is one of the leaders among gas-transport enterprises of “Gasprom” group.

Head of JSC “Gasprom” handed awards to employees of gas sector. RT President in his turn handed Medal “For valorous work” to Aleksey Miller for contribution into provision with natural gas and assistance in social and economic development of Tatarstan.

President of Tatarstan handed letters of commendation and honorary titles and letter of gratitude of RT President to employees of OOO “Gasprom-transgas Kazan”.
