Mintimer Shaimiev opens literature and sculpture park in Novy Kyrlay village

On April 27, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev took part in opening of a new literature and sculpture park in Novy Kyrlay village, Tatarstan. The park was created on the initiative of a deputy of State Council Lutfulla Shafigullin.

Mintimer Shaimiev visited a memorial museum complex of Gabdulla Tukai that was repaired before the poet’s 130th anniversary.

Later on, with Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Administration Asgat Safarov, and other officials Shaimiev laid flowers to the monument of Gabdulla Tukai and took part in a solemn opening ceremony of the park.
