RT President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in ceremony of opening new school in Kazan

Today RT President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in opening of new school №178 in Kazan. The school is located in residential district of Tatarstan capital - “XXI vek”. Residential complex consists of multi-apartment houses, car parking and objects of social infrastructure.

Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated pupils and their parents on September, 1 - Day of knowledge and wished academic achievements. He reminded that the school is a whole Centre of education of Sovetsky district of Kazan city.

“On the threshold of 1000-anniversary of Kazan city, in 2005 we arrived here, - new equestrian-sport complex “Kazan” was being built nearby and thre was nothing on the opposite side. Now we see here the residential district and modern Centre of education, - Rustam Minnikhanov said. – I would like to thank “Ak Bars” group for modern residential complex “XXI vek”. It is the good example of private-state partnership as long as realization of investment project “residential complex “XXI vek” in Kazan includes construction of new modern housing and objects of social infrastructure.

President of Tatarstan handed certificate for computer class as a gift for new school.

Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin also expressed thanks to “Ak Bars” group. He also thanked leadership of republic for opening new schools and kindergartens every year. “This educational centre is the first one in republic and we hope it will become a successful “pilot” project”, - Ilsur Metshin said.
