Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov met with delegation of Caspian-European integration business club (CEIBC)

Meeting of Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov with delegation of Caspian-European integration business club (CEIBC) has been held in RT Cabinet.

Ildar Khalikov warmly welcomed CEIBC delegation in Kazan. He noted that Tatarstan and Azerbaijan are tied by long-term political, economic and cultural relations. These two oil regions are developing oil production, petrochemistry and new innovative economy.

Head of RT government informed that first stage of Complex of oil-refining and petrochemical plants “TANEKO” will be commissioned on October, 10 this year. Total volume of investments is 200 bln. roubles. Also special economic zone “Alabuga” and network of techno parks are being developed in republic.

“Interaction between Tatarstan and CEIBC business which unites companies from 30 countries is extremely important and perspective for us”, - Ildar Khalikov noted. By his words, many companies entering CEIBC are partners of Tatarstan companies. Today’s visit of CEIBC delegation will promote new stage of cooperation. RT government is ready to render support for development of mutually beneficial relations.

President and CEO of CEIBC Telman Aliev told about history of club’s establishment.

The main purpose of CEIBC activity is creation of conditions for developing general program on issues of economy, policy, energy, customs, taxes, environmental protection, realization of information projects of regional purpose and maintenance of dialogue between state structures and private sector.

President of CEIBC thinks that creation of branch of Caspian-European integration business club in Kazan can play a significant role in developing relations between Tatarstan and CEIBC.
