Farid Mukhametshin awarded Badge “For Contribution to International Cooperation”

Today in Moscow, at the board meeting of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Tatarstan Parliament Speaker, Chairman of the Current Affairs Committee of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe Farid Mukhametshin was awarded a Badge of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation “For contribution to International Cooperation”.

“We highly appreciate your efforts and work in the development of inter-parliamentary ties of Russia with other countries of the world”, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov said.

In his turn, Farid Mukhametshin noted that today the republic has developed completely new ways of work with international partners and compatriots. In addition, active work is carried out by representatives of the Russian delegation to the Council of Europe. “We have fulfilled your instruction to maintain the Council of Europe platform in the Congress and now actively use this tribune to protect the interests of Russia.”

Badge of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is awarded to state and public figures for active work on the development of international contacts and projects in support of compatriots and other services.
