On April 18, a meeting of young innovators, inventors and development engineering from Russian regions opened at Tupolev Kazan National Research Technical University.
The event’s purpose is to support and give impetus to inventing and development activities, and to reveal research and development potential of school pupils, university students and enterprises.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Ministry of Economy Artem Zdunov, Rector of Tupolev Kazan National Research Technical University Albert Gilmutdinov and others took part in the event.
Welcoming participants, Minnikhanov noted that an innovative infrastructure is growing intensively in the republic, new production facilities and new jobs are created. “We do our best to promote research and development work,” he said.
He reminded that in 2012 a meeting with participation of adult innovators was held. This year, the focus was shifted to the younger generation and increased geography. “The main idea of this meeting is to unite innovative young people, put the boldest ideas into practice and get to know young people from other regions,” Rustam Minnikhanov conitnued. “I am pleased to see a lot of proactive and creative young people of various ages.”
