Rustam Minnikhanov visits All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials

On April 13, Tatarstan delegation headed by the President Rustam Minnikhanov visited All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials. The guests got familiar with research activity of the institute, its achievements in material science, modern research and production equipment, and low-tonnage production.

Director General of the institute Evgeny Kablov told about achievements in the creation of technologies and materials of new generation, and implementation of additive technologies that are expected to become a key area of the development of the domestic industry.

Rustam Minnikhanov paid much attention to solutions in the sphere of polymeric composite materials that are most sought after in aircraft engineering and other spheres.

Evgeny Kablov informed the president that the institute developed 300 grades of composite materials for aviation and aerospace industry.

Later on Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting on further steps on opening a branch of All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Aviation Materials in Tatarstan, results of scientific and technical cooperation, implementation of existing projects, and development of high technology innovation products at Tatarstan enterprises.
