Ildar Khalikov meets leadership of Russia-Malaysia consortium on the development of Kazan financial region

On April 13, Prime Minister of Tatarstan met leadership of Russia-Malaysia consortium on the development of Kazan financial region.

“This meeting testifies the strengthening of our cooperation and that we can start a new stage of the development of the concept and feasibility study of the master plan of Kazan financial region,” Ildar Khalikov said.

Khalikov noted that issues of the development of Novo-Tatarskaya Sloboda were discussed last year at the meeting of Rustam Minnikhanov with representatives of Russia-Malaysia consortium.

Managing Director of AJM Planning and Urban Design Group Norliza Hashim thanked Ildar Khalikov for the meeting and said that the project of Kazan financial region will help strengthening the positions of the Kazan city as a big international financial center.

Norliza Hashim told about the experience of creating such international financial center in Vancouver, Kuala Lumpur and Paris.

Ildar Khalikov, Norliza Hashim and President of the Fund for the development of Islamic business and finances Linar Yakupov signed an agreement between Russia-Malaysia consortium and Tatarstan Government on preparing the feasibility study of the master plan of Kazan financial region.
