Rustam Minnikhanov visits Dubai Internet City in Dubai

On April 11, during his working trip to Dubai, the official delegation of Tatarstan with the President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Dubai Internet City.

Founded in 1999, Dubai Internet City is a big information technology park which occupies the area of 1.5 mln square metres. About 850 resident companies, such as Microsoft, IBM, Cisco, Oracle Corporation, Nokia, Siemens are based here.

Representatives of Dubai Internet City told Tatarstan delegation about development plan and answered questions.

Rustam Minnikhanov said that cooperation with such a big IT company is important for the republic and suggested establishing contacts in the sphere of information security.
