Rustam Minnikhanov meets Czech Minister of Industry and Trade Jan Mládek

On April 7, at their meeting in Prague Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on a two-day working visit in the Czech Republic, and Czech Minister of Industry and Trade Jan Mládek discussed issues related to further cooperation between the Czech Republic and Tatarstan as one of Russian regions.

Minnikhanov reminded that he had met with Mr. Mládek in the Czech Republic in September 2014 and in Tatarstan in November this year.

He also thanked the Minister for participation of his deputy Jiri Koliba in the Czech-Tatarstan business forum held in Brno today.

During their meeting Minnikhanov and Mládek discussed issues related to further cooperation under current economic and political situation. According to Minnikhanov, Czech-tatarstan relations have great potential.

We are interested in Czech companies choosing Tatarstan as a launching pad for entering the Russian market, Minnikhanov said.
