Rustam Minnikhanov meets members of the Consulting scientific council of Skolkovo Foundation

On April 5, at his meeting with members of the Consulting scientific council of Skolkovo Foundation, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov thanked organizers of the session of the Consulting scientific council for holding the event in Kazan (April 4-5).

The programme of the session includes a meeting of members of the council with leadership of Kazan federal university, lectures and workshops, and a plenary session in Innopolis.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that much attention has been lately paid to innovative development, and engineering centers, technoparks, and special economic zones are being created, nano-, bio- and digital technologies are being studied. 

Minnikhanov continued that Tatarstan puts much emphasis on the development of cooperation with Skolkovo Foundation.

Co-chairman of the Consulting scientific council of Skolkovo Foundation, Vice-president of Russian Academy of Sciences, laureate of the Nobel Prize Zhores Alferov said that the unity of science and education is developing and actively supported in Tatarstan.
