Rustam Minnikhanov meets leadership of Russian Sambo Federation in Moscow

On April 4, at their meeting in Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and leadership of Russian Sambo Federation discussed organization of European men's and women's sport sambo championship and men’s combat sambo championship in Kazan on May 12-16, 2016. About 400 sportsmen from 40 European countries are expected to take part in the championships.

Representatives of Russian Sambo Federation told that active work on including sambo in the list of Olympic sports is underway.

President of Russian Sambo Federation Sergey Eliseev, President of Tatarstan Sambo Federation Ivan Egorov, and Minister of youth affairs and sport Vladimir Leonov took part in the meeting.
