RT Minister of informatization and communications Nikolay Nikiforov: Phased plan of transition to rendering state services in electronic format approved in Tatarstan

By the end of 2010 via electronic self-service kiosks (infomats) citizens of republic will be able to pay GIBDD fines, receipts for auto maintenance checkup, car registration and taking driving exam. This has been announced today by Head of GIBDD MVD on RT Rifkat Minnikhanov at briefing in RT Cabinet.

Briefing was traditionally held in format of video conference with participation of all municipal regions. Any user of internet could take part in briefing on – line (www.prav.tatar.ru ).

RT Deputy prime minister - Minister of informatization and communications Nikolay Nikiforov, Head of GIBDD MVD on RT Rifkat Minnikhanov and deputy head of Administration of federal service of state registration, cadastre and cartography on RT Albert Khairutdinov told about rendering of state services for citizens in electronic format.

Minister of informatization and communications Nikolay Nikiforov told about work that is being implemented in Tatarstan within the limits of rendering state services in electronic format. He informed that 45 infomats had already been set up in republic.

Nikolay Nikiforov also told about one more innovation - mobile access to state services via smartphones (m.tatar.ru).

Minister of informatization and communications informed that infomats aer set up in such shopping centres as “Koltso”, XL, “Park house”, “Korston”, “Tandem”.

By words of Nikolay Nikiforov upon the whole, a complex phased plan of transition to rendering state services in electronic format is approved in Tatarstan.
