Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrives in Turkmenistan with two-day visit

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Turkmenistan with two-day visit. He was met by officials of Turkmenistan headed by the President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov.

Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov congratulated Rustam Minnikhanov on appointment to the post of RT President and thanked him for contribution into strengthening cooperation between Russia and Turkmenistan, Tatarstan and Turkmenistan. By words of Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov the present visit would favor expansion of mutually beneficial relations between Tatarstan and Turkmenistan.

Tatarstan delegation consisted of RT Deputy prime minister – minister of energy Ilshat Fardiev, Deputy prime minister – minister of culture Zilya Valeeva, Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, Aide to RT President Iskander Muflikhanov, President of RT Academy of sciences Akhmet Mazgarov, Plenipotentiary of Tatarstan Republic in Turkmenistan Kamil Galiev, Director general of JSC “KAMAZ” Sergey Kogogin, Director general of JSC “Tatneft” Shafagat Takhautdinov, Director general of JSC “Kazan helicopters plant” Vadim Ligai, Director general of Zelenodolsk plant named after Gorky Sergey Ilyin.
