President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov appointed Midkhat Shagiakhmetov to the post of RT Minister of economy

Midkhat Shagiakhmetov has been appointed to the post of RT Minister of economy by RT President Edict dated as of July, 28, 2010. RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov presented new head of the ministry to the staff.

Marat Safiullin has been relieved from the position of RT Minister of economy in connection with transfer to another job.

Shagiakhmetov Midkhat Rafkatovich was born in Kazan. In 2009 he was appointed to the post of Aide to Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, in 2010-Aide to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. Midkhat Shagiakhmetov graduated from Kazan financial-economic institute by speciality “economic and social planning”. He is the Doctor of economic sciences and is in reserve of managing staff under patronage of RF President.
