Center of partner banking opens in Kazan

The center of partner banking opened in Kazan today with the participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, First Deputy Chairman of the bank of Russia Alexey Simanovsky, Chairman of the Muslim Spiritual Administration, mufti of Tatarstan Kamil hazrat Samigullin.

The work of the center will be based on principles of partner financing that are widely used in many countries of Southeast Asia and Middle East.

Leader of the republic noted that even European countries actively participate in Islamic banking.

Rustam Minnikhanov thanked organizers who prepared the venue.

Tatarstan was chosen as a pilot region for the project implementation. PAO “Tatfondbank” and OOO “Tatagroprombank” are credit organizations implementing the project in Russia. The working group is headed by First Deputy Chairman of the bank of Russia Alexey Simanovsky.
