The most energy efficient project on refining heavy oil presented at board session of OAO “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding”

On March 23, an investment project of the innovation unit for refining heavy oil was presented at a board session of OAO “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding” at Tatarstan Government House. The session was held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

The project was developed by a resident of Skolkovo innovation center – OOO “Beta holding”. According to Deputy Director General of the company Igor Trushnikov, this technology aims to solve the problem of the lack of heavy oil refining technology and reduce energy and operating costs several times, and increase the oil refining depth up to 99 per cent. The energy efficiency indicators of this technology are the highest in comparison with other existing technologies.
