Tatarstan people to receive access to internet public services – I.Khalikov

“Tatarstan Ministry of Informatization and Communication is developing the project on providing public services in the Internet,” the Premier said.

In a short time, every Tatarstan citizen will have access to public services in any place where the Internet is available. It will be possible thanks to the project developed by Tatarstan Ministry of Informatization and Communication. Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov informed about it at the briefing after having visited JSC Tattelecom where he examined the enterprise work, its main economic indices, and visited the important communication objects.

According to Ildar Khalikov, head of Tatarstan sets the task to provide the Internet access to the new services both in terms of geography and finances. Not only classic – IP telephone, IP television, but also within Tatarstan “Electronic Government”. “It is of much importance to provide each citizen of the republic in any place, even in a small settlement, with the same level of services big cities’ residents have,” the Prime Minister emphasized.

“Tattelecom is the main telecommunication company of the republic, our strategic partner. It’s important for the Republic of Tatarstan Government that the company’s development exceeds development of software products and technologies implemented at present,” I. Khalikov added.
