Mintimer Shaimiev visits Innopolis

On March 22, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev visited Innopolis in Verkhneuslonsky region of the Republic of Tatarstan. Innopolis, the first city in the modern history of Russia opened last year in June. It consists of the economic zone, Univeristy, sports complex, residential area, and provides wide opportunites for education and professional development.

Director General of Innopolis Igor Nosov and Mayor of the city Egor Ivanov told Mintimer Shaimiev about Special economic zone “Innopolis”.

The State Counsellor visited laboratory building and university hostel, where he talked to students and teachers, A.S.Popov technopark.

Mintimer Shaimiev appreciated the work of people who created the new city of Innopolis under the auspices of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.
