Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in session of Council of Vysokogorsky region

Rustam Kalimullin has become the head of executive committee of Vysokogorsky region. Today deputies of Council of Vysokogorsky region unanimously voted for his candidature. RT President Rustam Minnikhanov, heads of republican ministries and departments, deputies of RT State Council took part in the session.

When the contest for vacant post was announced, the commission offered two candidatures - Rustam Kalimullin and Vladimir Kovtun. Deputies supported Rustam Kalimullin.

At the session deputies also discussed issues of social-economic development of Vysokogorsky region. Head of republic considers that the main task of region’s head is development of agricultural sector. Thus, it is necessary to attract new investors and intensively use all existing possibilities.

Rustam Minnikhanov also said about problems in educational and social spheres. Rustam Kalimullin in his turn told in details about the situation arisen in the region. He marked that state of affairs is rather worrying because of weather conditions. Rustam Kalimullin informed that schools, kindergartens, health care institutions neeв to be repaired. Besides, it is essential to supply settlements located in the region with gas, take measures on construction and maintenance of roads, water supply systems, and sewage treatment facilities.

Summing up, RT President Rustam Minnikhanov charged republican ministries with a task to analyze the situation one more time and offer some measures to change it.
