Rustam Minnikhanov: new solutions, prospective enterprises and high technology jobs must be the result of cooperation between enterprises and science

On March 21, at a session of the economic council of the Republic of Tatarstan said that the current economic situation provided an opportunity for more aggressive import substitution and development of innovative economic sectors, expansion of cooperation and production specialization are becoming more topical.

The session was dedicated to the development of infrastructure facilitating integration of scientific solutions into industrial production, commercialization of technologies and knowledge.

Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that the republic pays much attention to the development of breakthrough technologies, such as –nano, - bio, and information technologies, robotics, and new materials. Four engineering centers have been created in the republic for the development of these spheres.  

However, to achieve the stated goals cooperation of all interested parties is important. Universities and enterprises should work together in terms of the development of management competences and target training of engineering personnel that meet requirements of the market.
