Rustam Minnikhanov opens XV All-Russia table tennis competitions in Bogatye Saby

On March 19, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Aide to Russian President, Chairma of the Board of trustees of Russian table tennis federation Igor Levitin, Tatarstan Minister of youth affairs and sport Vladimir Leonov, President of Tatarstan table tennis federation Ainur Aideldinov, and Head of Sabinsky region Rais Minnikhanov took part in the opening ceremony of XV All-Russia table tennis competitions in Bogatye Saby (Tatarstan).

Before the ceremony everyone honoured the momory of people who died in the plane crash in Rostov-on-Don with a minute’s silence.

Speaking at the ceremony, Igor Levitin said that participation in competitions is a good opportunity to master skills and adopt the experience of famous sportsmen. He added that best tennis players would take part in the event.

Moreover, with the auspices of President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov, the Tatarstan table tennis federation will provide all regions of the republic with sports equipment for table tennis.
