Rustam Minnikhanov opens XVII international specialized exhibition “Energy. Resource saving”

On March 15, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov opened the XVII international specialized exhibition “Energy. Resource saving” and XVI international symposium “Energy and resource efficiency and energy saving” at Kazanskaya yarmarka exhibition center.

Acting Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, Russian Deputy Minister of Energy Anton Inyutsyn, heads of regional ministries and agencies attended the ceremony.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that it is a good event for discussing issues of energy and resource saving, and the exhibition would favour the development of cooperation between Russian and foreign partners.

Anton Inyutsyn wished participants of the exhibition productive work and added that Tatarstan is considered one of the leading regions in the sphere of energy efficiency. He wished the republic to maintain these high positions.

The Governor of the Kaliningrad region Nikolay Tsukanov and Governor of the Volgograd region Andrey Bocharov delivered a welcome speech at the opening ceremony.

Aleksey Pesoshin handed over diplomas to the winners of the annual contest on developing and using energy-efficient equipment and technologies.
