Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov: republic is interested in further cooperation with “Yokogawa Electric Corporation”

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov said at the meeting with Director and executive vice-president of “Yokogawa Electric Corporation” Teruyoshi Minaki that republic is interested in further cooperation with the company. The meeting was held in House of RT government.

Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed guests and noted that good partnership relations had formed between Tatarstan and “Yokogawa Electric Corporation”. He reminded that Technical centre of company’s branch on the basis of innovative techno park “Idea” was opened in November, 2008. Today technical specialists, students are training here, engineers improve their skills.

Rustam Minnikhanov informed that one of the largest and serious joint projects is “TANEKO” (Nizhnekamsk). Yokogawa Electric directly participated in its realization.

Tatarstan President offered company’s leadership to pay special attention to special economic zone “Alabuga” for possible investment and promotion of products in Russia.

Director and executive vice-president of “Yokogawa Electric Corporation” Teruyoshi Minaki thanked Tatarstan leadership for conditions for organization and maintenance of business and development of relations between the company and republican enterprises. He informed that in November 2010 President of “Yokogawa Electric Corporation” is going to visit Russia. He also plans to visit Tatarstan within frameworks of his trip.

As for project “TANEKO” Teruyoshi Minaki assured that “Yokogawa Electric Corporation” would do everything within fixed period according to the plan.

Teruyoshi Minaki also noted that Technical centre of branch “Yokogawa Electric CIS” on the basis of techno park “Idea” is one of the most serious areas of company’s work. By his words the company plans to open Centre of solutions “Yokogawa Electric Corporation” in Kazan which would be based on cooperation with technical higher institutions of republic.

Teruyoshi Minaki told Rustam Minnikhanov about his visit to special economic zone “Alabuga” and positive assessment of conditions for resident companies and possibilities for potential investment. He also said about fruitful meeting with Minister of energy Ilshat Fardiev.
