Rustam Minnikhanov meets Board Chairman Global Advisory Abdulhadi Al-Hajri

On March 3, at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Chairman of the Global Advisory Company (Qatar) Mr. Abdulhadi Al-Hajri.

Welcoming the guests, Minnikhanov expressed  his confidence that cooperation with Qatar in the framework of established relations would be continued. He thanked for the attention paid to Tatarstan delegation during a recent visit to Qatar in December, 2015.

"We are pursuing policy of expanding our contacts," Minnikhanov said, noting that he had reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin on his visit to Qatar and Head of the state also approved the further development of these relations.

In his turn, Abdulhadi Al-Hajri thanked for the invitation to visit Tatarstan. "We are searching for opportunities for business development which your republic can offer. This might expand our cooperation," he said.

"We can organize several joint ventures and strengthen our cooperation," Abdulhadi Al-Hajri added. According to him, agriculture, IT industry, cars production, as well as the petrochemical sector can be the main areas for mutually beneficial cooperation.

Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov, Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov, Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Talia Minullina, and other officials took part in the meeting.
