Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov: Further strategy of developing Zelenodolsk shipbuilding plant is connected with its integration into JSC “United shipbuilding corporation”

JSC “Gorky Zelenodolsk shipbuilding plant” will be integrated into JSC “United shipbuilding corporation”. This was announced today by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov in Zelenodolsk after examining the plant and meeting with participation of Deputy minister of industry and trade of Russia Denis Manturov and Head of JSC “United shipbuilding corporation” Roman Trotsenko.

Today Russian must have a strong fleet and shipbuilding sector, Tatarstan President said, and further strategy of developing Zelenodolsk shipbuilding plant is connected with its integration into JSC “United shipbuilding corporation”. Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that this issue had been discussed at the last session of RF Security council dedicated to development of shipbuilding sphere (June,10,2010).

Head of JSC “United shipbuilding corporation” Roman Trotsenko said that Zelenodolsk plant has perspectives. By his words the consistent policy of Tatarstan leadership allowed keeping the production while many shipbuilding plants ceased to exist.

Roman Trotsenko informed about complex program of modernization of enterprises within “United shipbuilding corporation”, and this reform will surely apply to Zelenodolsk plant.
RT President said that in the course of 2010 the plant will enter JSC “United shipbuilding corporation”.
