Rustam Minnikhanov met with Kazan and Tatarstan Archbishop Anastasy

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov met with Kazan and Tatarstan Archbishop Anastasy in Kazan Kremlin.

At the meeting they discussed issues of reconstruction of building of Eparchial administration and reconstruction of Kazan Monastery of the Mother of God the history of which  is connected with finding of Kazan Icon of the Mother of God.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that republic would support Kazan eparchy in reconstructing orthodox shrines and development of orthodoxy in Tatarstan.

Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin, chief of Department on issues of inner policy under RT President Aleksandr Terentyev attended the meeting.
