Sabantui celebrations in Nizhnekamsk region

Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov took part in celebrations of national holiday “Sabantui” in Nizhnekamsk municipal district.

“Sabantui-2010” as usual took place in cultural-sport complex “Ilinka”.

Ildar Khalikov examined the holiday place by the beginning of celebrations. A solemn opening ceremony and dramatized prologue of “Sabantui-2010” were held later on.

Sport competitions and national games traditional for “Holiday of plough” were held at various sites.

Horse races and competitions on national wrestling “kuresh” were held in the second part of the day within frameworks of “Sabantui” holiday.
