Rustam Minnikhanov visits simulation center at Educational center of high medical technologies

On February 8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the simulation center at Educational center of high medical technologies Amtec Kazan.

With robot patients specialists can have training in gastroduodenoscopy, ultrasonic and X-ray diagnosis, dentistry, resuscitation, anaesthesiology, bronchoscopy and colonoscopy. Most of the equipment was produced in Tatarstan. The number of students is expected to increase by 20 per cent.

The simulation center was created due to the support of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. In July 2015, in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Land and Property, one of the buildings of the Regional Clinical Hospital was handed over to the educational center for free use.

Later on, at its own expense, the center was repaired and equipped, and the Center of medical science handed over the simulation equipment produced by Eidos company to the center.
