Shares of PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim, PJSC Tatneft and JSC TANECO included in plan of privatization of government-owned property of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2016

On February 8, The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan has made changes in the forecast plan of privatization of government-owned property of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2016, and included the shares of Nizhnekamskneftekhim Petrochemical Company, Tatneft Oil Company and TANECO Oil Refinery.

Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov signed the relevant order on February 2, 2016. The decision is based on the need for more effective use of the existing resources. The shares will be transferred to the Ministry of Land and Property.

The shares will be used for supporting and developing priority economic sectors and leading enterprises of the republic, and will increase industrial cooperation within the Kama petrochemical cluster.  The information about any further transactions will be revealed in accordance with the legislation if necessary.
