Rustam Minnikhanov meets with Deputy Chairman of the Committee of Inquiry of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation Yury Nyrkov

The meeting of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Chairman of the Committee of Inquiry of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation Yury Nyrkov was held at the RT House of Government on June 3.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Head of the Directorate of Inquiry of the Committee of Inquiry of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Kirshin, Head of the Stat Legal Board of the RT President Raisa Sakhieva attended the meeting.

“We’re happy that the international conference on investigation of terrorism-related crimes attended by representatives of pre-trial investigation bodies of the CIS member countries is taking place in Kazan,” the Tatarstan President said. He also reminded that such large-scale events are held in the Tatarstan capital on a regular basis. On May 26th, Tatarstan hosted the 12th meeting of the Russia-EU Permanent Partnership Council on Freedom, Security and Justice.

According to Rustam Minnikhanov, today’s event is of importance for development and implementation of a joint programme aimed to outroot international terrorism.

The participants of the meeting focused on the necessity to consolidate efforts and work out a comprehensive programme of anti-terrorism measures. Deputy Chairman of the Committee of Inquiry of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation Yury Nyrkov thanked the RT President for a warm reception and mentioned the very good organization of the conference and its special significance in the cause of combating international terrorism.
