Ildar Khalikov: Sports and Physical Training Society "Dynamo" is the pride of Russia

On February 4, at a celebration dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Sports and Physical Training Society "Dynamo", Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that “Dynamo Tatarstan” is the highest achievement of the republic and the pride of Russia.

He noted that Tatarstan sportsmen win high awards at competitions of different levels. Over the last few years Dynamo Tatarstan created victorious men’s and women’s volleyball, bandy and grass hockey teams.

Head of Tatarstan Government expressed his gratitude to veterans, who managed to keep the spirit of the team in hard times, and Chairman of Sports and Physical Training Society "Dynamo" Asgat Safarov.

According to Safarov, the team has won gold medals at Olympiad 19 times. There are 50 honoured masters of sport, 100 Masters of Sport of International Class in the team.

Regional and Russian awards were presented at the ceremony.
