Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov: It is important to involve private investors in health care industry

On February 4, at a session of Tatarstan Ministry of Health on results of work in 2015, President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov said: “Health care industry is the topic of the day we are all concerned about.”  

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that great organizational and quality changes have taken place in the industry over the last 10-15 years. He believes that it is important to involve private investors in health care industry.

The president positively estimated the work of the ministry and thanked its employees.

“Your work is very important. You influence people’s mood, because the worst thing is when someone has got health problems. Well-coordinated work of health care industry and availability of medical services raise living standards of our citizens and creates favourable attitude to the government,” he said.

Rustam Minnikhanov handed over state awards to the most distinguished employees of the industry.
