Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Vice-president of Russian academy of sciences Sergey Aldoshin discuss main areas of cooperation in the sphere of chemistry and petrochemistry

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov held a working meeting with Vice-president of Russian academy of sciences, Director of institute of chemical physics problems under Russian academy of sciences Sergey Aldoshin in House of RT government.

Sergey Aldoshin and Rustam Minnikhanov discussed realization of joint major projects by Russian academy of sciences and Republic of Tatarstan and main areas of cooperation in the sphere of chemistry and petrochemistry.

Cooperation between Tatarstan and Russian academy of sciences is realized within limits of Agreement on scientific-technical cooperation of RT Cabinet and Russian academy of sciences in the sphere of chemistry, petrochemistry and ecology in 2004-2014 years. Documents were signed in April 2004 in Moscow.

Works on developing cooperation of enterprises of oil-gas-chemical complex of RT with scientific organizations of Russian academy of sciences are coordinated by JSC “Tatneftehiminvest-holding”.

Today at the meeting with RT President Director of institute of chemical physics problems under Russian academy of sciences Sergey Aldoshin has presented a project in the sphere of gas chemistry.

Director of Topchiev Institute of petrochemical synthesis under Russian academy of sciences Salambek -Khadzhiev reported on realization of domestic technologies of processing heavy charge of oil in oil-refining industry of RT.

Participation of scientific centres of Russian academy of sciences in realization of ecological projects at Tatarstan enterprises of oil-gas-chemical complex was discussed later on.

Parties agreed on prolongation of acting agreement on scientific-technical cooperation and organization of joint working groups.

In the meeting took part Chairman of Kazan scientific centre of Russian academy of sciences, Director of Arbuzov institute of organic and physical chemistry Oleg Sinyashin, President of RT Academy of sciences, Director of All-Russia institute hydrocarbonic raw materials Akhmed Mazgarov, Director general of JSC “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” Rafinat Yarullin.
