Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in preview of the documentary film “Faith”

On February 1, during his trip to Moscow, together with representatives of Tatar religious community, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov watched the documentary film “Faith” that was filmed by young Tatarstan filmmakers of “VIANZH Production”.

The film tells about heroes of our age, including the first president of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev, who tells about efforts that were taken to preserve and show respect to each religion that traditionally existed in the republic, the reconstruction of churches and mosques, and opening of synagogues.

The story also tells about a Russian hero Ilyas Daudi and divers from Tatarstan, who went to the South Pole.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted that such films are important for patriotic education today. He wished authors of the project creative achievements.
