Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov meets heads of small oil companies

On January 29, in Almetievsk, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with heads of small oil companies on results of work in 2015 and tasks for 2016.

Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov, heads of regional ministries and agencies and responsible employees of Tatarstan President’s Administration and Tatarstan Government attended the meeting.  

Opening the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov informed that oil production made more than 34 bln tons for the first time with Tatneft producing 27 mln tons and small oil companies – 7 mln tons. The President stressed that oil industry makes a great contribution to economic development of the republic.

Director General of ZAO “Nefteconsortium” Fanis Valiev presented results of work of small oil companies and their plans for 2016.

He informed that the “Programme of development of priority studies in the sphere of geology and field development for the period of 2016-2025” was considered at a session of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In 2016, small companies are planning to produce 6 mln 588 thousand tons of oil.

The meeting also discussed planned inspections of small oil companies in 2016.
