19.01.2016

On January 19, at a session of Federal Drug Control Service in the Republic of Tatarstan, Prime Minister of the republic Ildar Khalikov said that the work on early detection of drug addicts by testing school children and students should be systemic. He asked to enhance interaction and systematize work in this sphere. The Prime Minister also suggested closing night clubs where facts of drug consumption are revealed.

Speaking about results of operative activity of police officers, Head of Federal Drug Control Service in Tatarstan Fayaz Shabayev informed that administrative actions were brought against 68 people for drug consumption at night clubs.  Also, one of DJs was arrested for storage of drugs in July 2015. The club’s management reported to the Drug Control Service on measures taken in connection with the revealed facts, however, according to Shabayev, practically nothing was done.

Ildar Khalikov called the service for active interaction with Federal Supervision Agency for Customer Protection and Human Welfare, Ministry of emergency situations and other agencies to start closing those night clubs.
