Chairman of Russian Government Vladimir Putin has just arrived in Kazan

Today, Chairman of Russian government Vladimir Putin has arrived at international airport “Kazan” from Sochi with working visit.

Head of Russian government was met by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, first vice-premier of Russia Igor Shuvalov, plenipotentiary of President in Volga Federal District Grigory Rapota, Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov.

It is planned that within a working visit Vladimir Putin will examine a process of preparation for holding Universiade 2013 in the capital of Tatarstan, see the number of sports objects, visit Universiade village and Palace of Single Combats. Later, Vladimir Putin and his party will take part in a solemn ceremony of laying the foundation stone of football stadium for Universiade – the main sports arena of forthcoming World Student Games.

Vladimir Putin will also lay flowers to the Eternal flame in a Victory park and visit hospital for war veterans.

Head of Russian government plans likewise holding a meeting in Kazan Kremlin “On construction of sports objects and transport infrastructure of XXVII World Summer Universiade 2013”.

First vice-premier of Russia Igor Shuvalov, Minister of transport of Russia Igor Levitin, Minister of sport, tourism and youth policy of Russia Vitaly Mutko, Minister of economic development of Russia Elvira Nabiullina, Minister of education and science of Russia Andrey Fursenko take part in the meeting.
