Experts of World bank present results of Tatarstan innovative potential research to Rustam Minnikhanov

Results of research of Tatarstan innovative potential prepared by experts of World bank were presented to President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The event was held in Kazan Kremlin.

Representatives of international financial organization told about conducted work on studying and diagnosing policy pursued in Tatarstan in the sphere of innovations.

Results of scientific-research project “Diagnostics of innovative potential of Tatarstan : results and recommendations” include analysis of strong and weak aspects of innovative sector of region’s economic policy.

Experts of World bank also prepared recommendations on correction of conceptual bases, principles and areas of regional innovative policy.

By results of the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov gave some assignments. Work in this sphere will be continued.

RT Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of informatization and communications Nikolai Nikiforov, RT Minister of economy Marat Safiullin, Aide to RT President Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, consultant of World bank, head of Lindholm-Consult Peter Lindholm, senior specialist of Department for development of state sector of World bank Ludmila Poznanskaya, consultant of World bank - coordinator of French-Russian program on transferring technologies in Russia Andrey Zolotarev took part in the meeting.
